Emirates downgrade

I have an Emirates reservation LAX-DXB-SIN that I got pre Alaska devaluation. They changed the LAX-DXB leg from an A380 to a 777. (I’m booked on the 22:30 flight on October 8th). What are my chances to change my ticket to the earlier flight (4:40ish) that is still flys in the a380 ? I called today and after 30 min of waiting they said they can change my ticket (without paying the 80K miles difference) but that there is nothing available on first class for award booking. I really wanted to try the bar and shower you talk so much about

Try a 3-way call between yourself, AS and EK and see if they can work out a solution for you. If not, keep monitoring space and call AS to switch when space opens up.

Equipment types aren’t guaranteed when you book a flight, sadly.

As the flight isn’t until October, I would keep an eye on it. You may see first class open up within two weeks of departure (though Alaska may charge a fee at that point).
