Difficulty finding AA Business Milesaaver to Europe.

Difficulty finding AA Business Milesaaver to Europe.

I am having a very difficult time finding AA Business Class Milessaver award seats to Europe. I have been searching on Expert flyer as well as AA site. I’ve looked at 6-8 major European cities in early September with no luck. I have added flight notifications on Expert Flyer but have not found anything. Is this normal trying to redeem the Milessaver Business Class tickets? I hate to fly economy with the miles for Business class. Any thoughts, experiences or suggestions would be interesting!

@AustinTexMan you might find this post Ben did a couple of months ago helpful:http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2015/11/24/american-award-availability/. AA has released some space in spurts since then but nothing consistent. You just have to keep looking unfortunately. Have you searched partner availability on Air Berlin, Iberia, Finnair? If you must travel is paying BA surcharges palatable? That would probably open up even more options.

    Gaurav,

Thanks so much for the link! I didn’t realize the almost complete lack of availability for the saver seats.I thought I had found space of Finnair as you suggested, but the flight was magically no longer available. I will keep looking but most likely be sitting in my cramped economy seat! Thanks again for your help.
