Denied entry to SWISS JFK First class lounge
I was travelling on Asians first class from JFK-ICN but was denied entry to the first class SWISS lounge at JFK. Both the staff at the lounge and when I tweeted SWISS said that SWISS lounge guidelines state that the first class lounge at JFK was only for Swiss passengers.
However, to my knowledge and on the star alliance webpage, it doesn’t say anything about JFK SWISS being limited to SWISS passengers.
What are your opinions on this?
They where correct. The only way to get in would be with an LX F ticket or HON status. They probably let LH F passengers in as well (like in Zurich). The top status for star alliance is star gold and that would get you in the Senator lounges.
