    I’m on a Delta flight from JFK to AMS and I’m trying to upgrade to business class using miles and / or money but I’m being told that Delta doesnt do upgrades at the airport. Apparently, one needs to upgrade at least 24 hours in advance. Is this true? Anybody have a different experience?

    I can see there are at least 5-6 seat available in business class and find it ridiculous that they wont sell me one. I’ve flown many airlines that are only to happy to sell you a last minute upgrade at check in or at the gate if there are seats available.
