I just signed up for the Delta Platinum Amex and the Delta Gold Amex while the sign-up bonuses were still high, and need to transfer some miles to another account, and the prices are quite expensive: 5,000 miles transferred costs $80. I was wondering if I use the Platinum Delta to make the purchase, will they credit me $100, or does paying for miles transfers not trigger the credit?
Also, does buying miles trigger the credit or not (e.g. If I were to buy 5,000 miles for $210, would they refund me $100 if I used the card, or not?)

I paid for an award flight ($5.60) and that triggered the $100 statement credit on the DLP. This was unexpected and getting $95 back was nice.
