Delta One LAX to BOS

Delta One LAX to BOS

2 questions in regards to an upcoming trip…

My reservation doesnt say Delta one it anywhere. Shouldnt it? Its weird cause regular First in Delta always says First and lax/jfk says Delta One but in looking online at my reservation it just says “Z” for the fare but no verbage as to the class of service how it normally would. And its def. Delta One as its the 757 with the lie flat configuration. When you purchase the ticket it says Delta One but no mention anywhere when i look up my current reservations

And secondly, anybody flown this route and checked bags? T2 or T3 ? The dedicated Delta One private check in is at T2 and i have used that for Ny and international and was going to use it for this boston trip obviously since its Delta One but i am reading something that says flights to any destination other than Atlanta, JFK, Hawaii and international must check bags at T3. That would defeat the purpose of Delta One private check in with the escort through the private corridor above to get to the front of the line for security”.

Called Delta and person on the phone had no clue to as to the answers to either question

    Thanks so much

Hey Ricky thx for the reply but I think the person on that link was dealing w just that yes some flights to Boston from lax aren’t all delta one whereas for jfk from lax they all are.

My question was more just why my delta one flight doesn’t say delta one on the itinerary. It doesn’t say anything next to Z fare just “Z”

And secondly if anybody knows where to check in T2 or T3. Delta One is T2 but they have a message saying unless you’re going to JFK Hawaii Minneapolis or international to use T3. I think that wasn’t posted before Boston became Delta one. Can’t imagine they turn a Delta one customer away from checking in @ special Delta One area in T2.

    Thanks 🙂

Ah gotcha. Sorry, I thought you had the same concern as that thread.

I’ve never flown Delta out of Boston, maybe someone else can help. I think @David W is (or used to be) Boston based?

That would be great if anyone knows. I dont really care about the missing Delta One verbage next to the fare class

I am just really curious about the whole Boston not being listed as a T2 check in but yet Delta One is at T2. Very confusing to me. Would like to check in my bags at T2 in the Delta One area
