Delta MQM’s needed
Hi Ben,
I am 15,000 MQMs short to reach Diamond status. Please help as time is running out! I am only able to fly December 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30 & 31st. I live in NY & would like to fly out of JFK, LGA or EWR (JFK would be best). Can I PAY you a few hundred to put together an itinerary for me?! I’m desperate! Would like to spend $2000… feasible? Thanks in advance! Jack

Click on “Award Help” above and it will take you to a link for Points Pros – or click here: https://pointspros.com/
I’ve used them for awards, but they can probably help you come up with a plan.
Jack,
Screenshots don’t seem to be working, but try this (on Delta website).
Search NYC – HNL depart on 12/24 and return on 12/24.
If you book outbound: DL 2037 LGA to DTW, DL 2561 DTW to LAX, DL 496 LAX to HNL
Leave NYC at 9AM, arrive in Hawaii 8:28pm
Return: DL 1048 HNL to SEA, DL 1467 SEA to JFK
Leave New York City at 9AM on the 24th, back in NYC at 4PM on the 25th (depart out of La Guardia, return to JFK)
Book in First Class the whole way is $2,270.20 and earns 15,203 MQMs
There is a later flight leaving Honolulu that leaves some more wiggle room for you, but it seems to add a couple hundred dollars to the total. You could also get the flight cheaper by having a full day in Hawaii, but then the cost of a hotel in Hawaii over Christmas probably outweighs the benefit of saving on the flight.
You could also fly to Asia (Shanghai seems cheapest), but would be in coach the whole way. I figure first class to Hawaii (no need to deal with customs/immigration), is more comfortable and more realistic, even if it costs slightly more.
