Anonymous GuestMy husband and I have booked Delta One award tickets to Rome in a couple of weeks. I currently have gold status with Delta.
Because of pricing my husband and I are on flights departing 4 hours apart, though our return flights are on the same flight.
I know that Delta does not have a policy allowing same day international changes like they do for domestic. Has anyone had any luck getting a gate agent or lounge agent let them do a change with no or little fee?
If its really not possible, I’m not going to worry, we knew the risk when we booked the flights, but the deal was WAY to good to pass up even with us arriving 4 hours apart.

Award tickets can’t be changed 72 hours in advance I believe. However it never hurts to ask, you’ll be no worse off than you are now.
