Delta B777 Retirement

Delta B777 Retirement

  1. Tevi Funaki New Member

I just saw that Delta is retiring it’s 777’s! I’m very sad that I have never been one one. Anyways, does anyone know why?! Also, what are they replacing it with? The A350 or possibly the 787? Does anyone have answers!?

The A350’s are def. replacing the 777 routes. There is an article on here from Ben about this. Or if you google it you will find quite a few diff write ups about this topic. DL had announced they were going to retire them even before Covid as i recall and then now they will all be out of service by end of October. I get it on one hand but they just put the nice Suites in so you would think their 767-300 with the horrible seats would go first before the 777. At any rate, SYD, JNB & PVG will all be A350’s… And whatever else had the 777.
