DAY BOAGT TRIP through PANAMA CANAL

DAY BOAGT TRIP through PANAMA CANAL

  1. Anonymous Guest

    LUCKY,

I am a Delta Diamond 2 million miler. I would like to take a trip down to the Panama Canal and take a day boat trip through the Canal. Have you done any reviews on Panama City and Canal tours? Is Panama City okay for solo travelers who do not speak Spanish? Other than the Canal and related museums what are the major attractions in Panama City?

Lucky generally doesnt post about travel destinations nor about activities – you may find more and better reviews on tripadvisor.

I didn’t do a boat trip through the canal, but having been to Panama… you will definitely be fine not knowing Spanish. Are you an American? Panama actually uses the US dollar as their currency… hopefully that tells you how easy it is to get around and how welcoming they are to the US 🙂

I haven’t been through the canal. But I had an 8-hr layover and took a 5-HR tour and it was great: The excellent canal Museum, the charming old town, and views of the new city.
Maybe you don’t need to go through the canal… maybe seeing it is enough?
