CX is not on Alaskan Mileage option…

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi Lucky,

Am I right that CX is not in the Alaskan Mileage Plus option when choosing an airline to redeem miles from Singapore to SFO??

Am planning to purchase miles from Alaskan AIr during this bonus point offer but when I tried to check the points needed to fly from SIngapore to SFO on CX, Cathay Pacific does not show up as an option at all…

No, they are, but you have to call for Cathay. I like to search for space using the British Airways tool beforehand (instructions under “tips & tutorials” under “start here” in the upper left of the blog.

Search segment by segment and dont limit yourself to HKG-SFO for CX. Also try HKG-LAX/YVR – you can then add domestic Alaska flights to the award to get to SFO, via SEA
