Aviator New MemberHello, I will be connecting from CX844 arriving LAX’s TBIT at 10:50am, to AA2453 departing for DFW at 13:30.
Do you think that’s plenty of time? How long does it typically take? CX will check my bag through to DFW, and I plan to use mobile check in.
How long does it take to from TBIT to the AA terminal? How is immigration at TBIT and Security wait times during this time of the day?
I’m an US citizen but do not have Global Entry nor Precheck. Thank you everyone! [USER=4]@Lucky[/USER] [USER=7]@Tiffany[/USER] please let me know if you have any thoughts.

First – download the Mobile Passport app. It’s free and there’s a separate line at immigration for MP users. It’ll be fairly quick.
While your bags are thruchecked, you still need to pick them up at LAX, and have them with you for customs and immigration. After that, there will be a bag drop so that you dont have to carry your bag to the main AA terminals at LAX.
You need to re-clear security again but it should not take too long. You can walk along the walkways outside, or you can reclear security at TBIT and go via the airside walkways and tunnels. I’d estimate it’ll take 10-15 minutes walking.
