Connecting FRA Z Gates to A JFK To BCN LH First

Connecting FRA Z Gates to A JFK To BCN LH First

    Great and very helpful webpage!

Assume flying LH First JFK to BCN via FRA. Arriving from JFK someplace like Z62 and departing out of something like A40 to BCN. Also assume a 2 hour connection so the First Class terminal is not ideal.

Forgive the run-on sentence, but am I correct the only way to make this journey is to march from Z62, pass Z50 and take a hard right….continue walking to about Z20 where passport control is….go down the stairs and march past A40 all the way back to the First Class lounge near A13 chill for a few minutes and then march back to the A40? Is this really the only way to clear passport control and get from Z to A and enjoy a few moment in the first class lounge?

    Thanks much!

Wow, that sounds out of the way. Hopefully someone very familiar with FRA can answer.

Yep, unless by some grace you land at a remote stand, in which case a car would meet you at the plane. That’s pretty unlikely for an inbound JFK flight though.

Lufthansa does many things well, but ground services at FRA really aren’t one of them.
