Confusion on Flight Availability and what to do

Confusion on Flight Availability and what to do

  1. Javed Rahman New Member

    Hello Lucky,

I was just checking a flight from DOHA (DOH) to ATHENS (ATH) on both British Airways and American Airlines.

BA shows 4 seats on Business available through Qatar Airways (direct flight), where AA shows no business class and going through BAH, LHR and then to ATH on the next day.

What do you suggest that I should do to get the Qatar Airways? Please note that I have AA Mileage only, and no BA Avios.

    I appreciate your suggestions.

Have you called AA? They don’t show Qatar space on their website.

Otherwise, sometimes BA does show phantom space for Qatar, which could be the case here.

    Hi Tiffany,

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it.

Should I call AA and tell them that I found Qatar seats on BA site?

You don’t have to mention BA specifically. Just make note of the flight numbers and tell AA which ones you’d like to book.
