Compensation from Delta

    Greetings from Atlanta in transit,
Awesome site! Just heard about your adventures.
I’m traveling from Rio to Stockholm via Atlanta. Booked tickets are booked using Delta.com and Flights from Brazil-US-Holland are operated by Delta. The flight eventually got cancelled and Delta provided with hotel, transportation and meals. Delta contacted some of the passengers almost immediately receiving vouchers around $150. There are rumors some got more. I’m still waiting to be contacted. Interested getting your view on how to use the situation to my advantage. I’m mainly on the FLYINGBLUE program but have a SkyMiles account. Unfortunately haven’t been flying enough to reach anything other than basic status this year.

People were furious singing contact lists organising a lawsuit. Agree it was irritating not getting info on why we were delayed and cancelled but I’m not that upset. I have the time to wait and love the whole flying experience 😉
