    Hi Lucky

I’m trying to decide between the Citibank Prestige and the Premier CC. There seems to be differences in the rewards for travel etc. The Premier CC seems to be more encompassing with what is considered travel.

Cost is not a factor but I’m going for as many points as possible. I’ve been told I can apply for either. Being from Down Under this seems a good way to go.

    Any thoughts?

    Regards
    Michael

Are you applying for the US version of the cards or the Australian version? There’s a Prestige card but not a Premier one available in Australia. Prestige looks good but it also depends on which travel partners you can transfer points to and what the transfer ratio is.

Applying for a US card. The Premier card seems to have a wider range of “travel” items which attract the 2xpoints.

Though must admit the Prestige card looks attractive.

    Cheers

They’re both good cards and work well in tandem. Sadly, the Premier doesn’t have a new card bonus.

I would get the Prestige, hands-down, because of the sign-up bonus, and the great perks (especially through next July). You’d have to spend quite a bit in the expanded Premier categories to make up for the bonus.

    Thanks for the replies.
Going with the Prestige as the signup bonus is too good to pass up.
