citi – AA bonus miles offer

citi – AA bonus miles offer

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi,
This is regarding the 30k bonus miles offer from Citi AA co branded card.
Citibank issued my two cards. The second came in even with out me asking for it !!
I spent more than a $1000 on the card in the required time frame, but i never got the 30000 bonus miles. I wrote to AA, and they asked me to take it up with Citi. Wrote to Citi and they never got back 🙁
Any one in the same boat as me ?

I’m confused. Did you get two identical cards with different account numbers?

CitiBank has a habit of issuing you a World MasterCard version of a credit card then sending you the same card but has been upgraded to a World Elite MasterCard. That could be the reason of the second card. Check both cards – numbers should be the same but the World Elite MasterCard logo is silver whereas a World MasterCard has the normal red and yellow logo.

I would call CitiBank and ask about the status of your bonus and why it never posted. My sister and I applied for a Citi AA card at the same time and I got my bonus as soon as i completed the spend but for her, Citi made her wait the entire 90 day period before posting the bonus even though she completed the spend in the same amount of time I did.
