China Southern Business Class

China Southern Business Class

    There are not many reviews of China Southern Business Class, and they certainly wildly vary in the opinion of it.

    I am looking into flights in business class for what will be approximately 16-18 hours in the air depending on the route. China Southern is $1500 less per person than any other carriers. I have never flown business on an international flight, so I wouldn’t have anything to compare it to. However, I don’t want to spend all of this money for a mediocre experience.

    Should I go for the China Southern? Can any one offer any additional opinions of this carrier?

    After seeing the Qatar sale, it looks like by adding an additional leg I can fly Qatar for the same price! Definitely going to pursue that route!

    Good choice. Heard the catering isn’t so great on China Southern. They do have a nice hard product however. You won’t be disappointed in Qatar

    Yeah, Qatar is heaps better than China Southern, which has a comfy seat, but mediocre catering. You can see Ben’s reviews of both by searching by airline under the “Trip Report” link at the top of this page.

    I’d definitely pick the extra connection with Qatar instead of China Southern

    Just as an update:
    Originally looked at tickets from Jacksonville to Kathmandu (business) Costs started at $4500 RT for any non China Southern.

    Since the sharing of the Qatar sale, and switching two legs to economy (JAX-BOS, BOM, KTM), two legs in business (BOS – DOH, DOH – BOM), I got RT tickets for $2200 PP.

    Thanks so much!

    @Aubrey Here’s what you can expect BOS-DOH. It’s fantastic!
