Chase Sapphire Miles refund with Air France
My wife and I could not take a five week trip that we had planned this month from San Francisco to Paris round trip Business Class. We transferred Chase points to Air France and bought the Business
Class tickets. My doctor said that I could not travel in March and I cancelled the flights. Chase said that the points were now with Air France and the I had to contact them which I did. They stated that their policy only allows for the tickets to be put on account to be used within two years. Since I do not know that flying will be a good option in that time I would like to get the points back to Chase or some sort of permanent credit. Do you have any advice how I might do this before I approach Air France.
Generally tranafer from UR to an airline program is final and irreversible. It might be better for you to research if you can redeem your air france points without flying, flights for others or they also offer shopping portal although they are usually not the best value for your points.Good luck!
Keep in mind you can also use AF miles to book partner tickets for say, Delta.
