Changing Which Account to Credit Miles To

Changing Which Account to Credit Miles To

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hello Lucky,

So, my situation is that I booked a Turkish Airlines roundtrip ticket in Economy class (W), and asked to credit any miles flown to my United MileagePlus account. However, I recently realized that this fare won’t actually credit any miles to United!

Do you know if there’s any way to ask Turkish to credit the miles to another account? I have flown the first leg, but not the return flight yet, if that helps. If this fare earns any miles with Singapore KrisFlyer, that account is preferable. However, I believe that in the worst case, this trip would at least accure miles in Turkish Airlines’ Miles&Smiles program.

Hi, yep! You can change your frequent flyer number at check-in, which shouldn’t be a problem.

However, Turkish W doesn’t earn anything with KrisFlyer either, I don’t think, so you’re probably stuck with Miles&Smiles.
