Changing flight times

Changing flight times

  1. Anonymous Guest

Hey guys, I am in the process of booking a paid first class ticket from LIS-PEK. At the moment one of my best options was to book with LH via FRA on the outbound and Swiss via ZRH on the inbound. My only issue is that on the outbound I only have 1hr to transit, and I get the feeling that is kind of tight (also want to try the FCT). My LIS-FRA flight would depart at 12:05, though I have seen other flights (with TAP and LH) departing earlier.

My question is if there is any way I could potentially change the time of the LIS-FRA flight. The cost of a ow is 56€ with TAP, would cancelling the first leg of the booking affect the whole trip? Based on Google flights, I would have to call Swiss to book this ticket

If you booked everything on one ticket, the connection should be legal and if there are delays, it’s the airline’s responsibility to get you to your destination. I wouldnt worry about your connection if this was the case.

Skipping the first leg of the itinerary on a single ticket cancels out the rest of the ticket. Call the airline or travel agency that issued your ticket and inquire about changing the ticket. There could be change fees and fare differences associated with this change.

If the ticket is not yet booked (it sounds like you’ve yet to call), you should be able to pick any earlier flight that LH operates to get you into FRA earlier. Search engines will often try to present you with the shortest possible itinerary, not one that allows you to indulge your avgeek pursuits :). Try to get at least three hours at FRA to enjoy the FCT.
