Cathay Pacific BOS-HK flight?

Cathay Pacific BOS-HK flight?

  1. R. Alcalay New Member

I’ve booked a 15-hour Cathay Pacific flight (Boston-Hong Kong), far longer than any flight I’ve ever taken. 2 questions:
    1) Any advice on making it more pleasant? It’s a Boeing 777. I got a bulkhead seat in Economy.
    2) It doesn’t seem worth $50 to join Cathay’s Marco Polo Club because I don’t expect to fly Cathay Pacific much. Anyone know if Asia Miles program is worth joining? Can I use Asia Miles for American/Delta miles?
    Thanks!

You can’t transfer Asia miles to AA or DL but you can credit the mileage for your flight to your AA account. Check the AA website to see how many miles you will earn for your fare class.

    Welcome.

You can also save the miles to Alaska Airline frequent flyer program and from there you can book both AA and DL awards.
