Cancelling Qatar return flight – will I be charged?

Cancelling Qatar return flight – will I be charged?

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi Lucky,
I’ve booked a return flight on Qatar and it seems highly likely now that I won’t use the return part of the flight. I’ve read the Qatar fare conditions and it says there is a cancellation fee, which is OK. If I cancel after the outbound flight, but before the return flight will they charge me for a single fare instead of a return, or just the cancellation fee?
    Thanks for the input!
    Cheers,
    Amanda

Amanda, if you’re not doing this regularly and it’s a one-off situation, you could probably just not take your return flight with no penalty.

Amanda, if you’re asking if Qatar will refund some of your miles or money after you’ve taken the outbound flight, I’m not positive they will. Or maybe I misunderstood the question.
