I am new to this reward program but I have a question.
Currently I have a krisflyer account, however for one of my flight I am required to take Lufthansa, however Lufthansa reward program is different from krisflyer as it is “miles and more”, I do not wish to create a “miles and more” account as I will not be travelling to Europe often, so is it possible to ask Lufthansa for krisflyer miles rather than “miles and more”? At least the krisflyer miles can be put into use.

Hi Mark, yes generally airlines within the same alliance (in this case Star Alliance) willl allow you to credit to a partner airline. Just provide your Krisflyer number on your reservation or when you check in. You can see how many miles you would earn for your booking class at wheretocredit.com.
