Buying Miles promotions on AA
HI Ben:
I just got an email from American Airlines stating that they would give a bonus of up to 75000 moles with purchase. Do you think that is a good deal?
American is up with a new Cyber Monday sale on miles. Worth checking out.
Hi,
I saw that there is a promotion on AA to buy miles:

Usually Ben will write a post about it before I see it but this time he didn’t…
Is the promotion worth it? I know it’s about 10% over what Lucky values them, but looks like a good price to buy direct from the airline if you have the right itinerary in mind…
Thanks,
Ziv

I joined AAdvantage on November 6th, so unfortunately I won’t be able to take advantage of the current buy miles offer with AA, because by the 30th I won’t have been a member for 30 days.
Is there any way around this at all? I was very keen to take advantage of the full 75k bonus (on purchasing 125k) as basically that’s a free round trip in Etihad apartments LHR-AUH…
@jeffenburg Find a friend who has a pre-existing AA account? Put out a call on facebook? Have them buy the miles and reimburse them. They can then book your tickets.
