Is there a wait period after you sign up for a Mileage plan account before you can purchase miles? I just signed up and points.com keeps saying login is invalid, please check your credentials.

Hi Tom! Your account has to be I think 14 days old before you can purchase miles?

Hello TomG, I also just signed up for Alaska Air miles. I called them and they told me that you can buy miles 10 days after the account is set up. Hope that helps. Good luck.
