Hi,
I’m planning a trip on Star Alliance that makes me fly from Europe to Vancouver, my options are:
– 1:35 connection in FRA and LH 747-400 (that I flew many times before)
– 4:55 connection in LHR and AC 777-300
What do you recommend? LH flight has a shorter layover and (obviously) lands earlier, but I never flew AC business class and it looks better than LH.
Are there any good (Star Alliance) lounges in LHR?

I prefer AC’s business class seats to LH’s. I do like the upper deck of a 747, but I would take the 777 (unless travelling with someone and you snag 2 on the upper deck of the 747).

Also a short connection in FRA with verses a longer one in LHR with many good *A lounges.

AC would be my choice.

To add to No Name’s comment, a 1:35 hour connection in Frankfurt is very tight and I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable with it. I would pick AC via LHR everyday of the week
