I’m trying to book Etihad First Class using Etihad miles. It shows 2 seats available but the radio button is “grey’d” out… am I missing something? I only have 45k miles in the account – I was going to transfer the balance, but am nervous about doing that with me not able to select it. I CAN select the seat if I search without logging in, but as soon as I log in the Guest First Seat is no longer an option.

I attached an example of a search (Not exact dates). The radio button can not be selected at the 117k rate.

hi [USER=2304]@Tags[/USER]. That’s strange. I see it showing available too before being logged in. Have you tried calling to check availability over the phone?

I was actually able to book! It was because I didn’t have the miles in my account. I called Etihad and they confirmed 2 seats were available so I transferred the miles and once I had 118k in my account I was able to book it. Unsure if this is typical or not.

Nice. Where did you transfer from and how long did it take?

AMEX MRs and they were ~instant (Less than 5 minutes). Booked 1 ticket with Etihad miles (117,700, from AMEX MRs) and one with AA (115k). Good way to burn some of my AA miles with their award space on their own metal ~non existent.
