Best way to upgrade for Mumbai
Dear Lucky,
Great fan of our site.
Can you help ? I’m thinking of visiting Mumbai / Goa for a few weeks in December. I have never been to India but would love to go. However I really don’t want to fly economy to Mumbai. What’s the best deal and with which airline would you fly ? ( I am based in London ) I currently have no air miles and am not a loyality member of any airline. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mark.
You can search online for deals and set alerts using Google Flights.
Some UK credit cards offer miles as rewards for spending but theyre usually not very much.
You could also look into purchasing miles for award flights. US loyalty programs allow you to do so. AA charges 42500 miles for UK-India in each direction for business class – fly thru Doha on Qatar or Abu Dhabi on Etihad. United charges 45k in business class on a Star Alliance Partner – fly Turkish thru Istanbul or Lufthansa via Frankfurt!
