Best way to Germany

Best way to Germany

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hey

We are planning a trip to Germany from N.C. this winter (assuming the world reopens by then)

we will be buying C/C (biz class) tickets

what is the best (quality/experience) way to cross the pond?

    LH 748 ORD FRA
    LH 350 CLT MUC
    AF ATL CDG
    Other?

we will likely boom the SQ A380 FRA JFK on the return and pray for an upgrade to clear

    thoughts?

I prefer a longer flight for sleep and don’t mind back tracking to ORD/DFW/ATL/MIA for a great ride

LH business class is not great and quite tight. Air France would be more comfortable in my opinion.

To echo Clem – LH business is a bit tight. If you are looking for a decent ride and dont care about carrier per se – DL in Delta One CLT-ATL-FRA is an option, which also works for MUC.

I really liked that Singapore Air JFK-FRA flight, but most often fly LH JFK-FRA. LH seating configuration isn’t great, but the service and wine selection are good and the experience is nice once you are past the hellhole of JFK Terminal 1. United Polaris is one of my favorite seats and the EWR Polaris lounge is my favorite US lounge (currently closed, I believe). United also has the only NYC-BER nonstop, if Berlin is in your plans (unfortunately not Polaris).
