Best miles for EUROPE-MIDDLE EAST flights
Hello Ben,
What is currently the best option for redeeming miles between Europe and the Middle East? (particularly for Business and First Class and considering number of miles / availaibility)
Hello Bill
AA is 42,5K miles for J and 62,5K miles for F, travel possible on Qatar and Etihad. Sri Lanka might be possible, but might also break routing rules depending on where you go. AA does not allow stopovers, only layovers of max 24 hours.

Any Oneworld programs should also be able to book Qatar and Sri Lankan.
It’s possible to book Emirates true JAL miles, most flight would probably end up in the 2K-4K miles distance band on their chart so 42K miles for J and 65 for F. Possible to do a stopover in DXB and continue to another destination.

United charges 45k one way business and 60k one way first on Star Alliance partners, Delta charges 42.5k for Skyteam partners so that could work as well.
Aeroplan charges 42.5-45k for business and 55-60k for first between Europe and the Middle East, depending on where you’re originating in Europe
