Best First Class Product to Europe

Best First Class Product to Europe

  1. Anonymous Guest

I am travelling solo to Croatia in October. I have plenty of points on either American outright or Amex to Star Alliance or Skyteam to get a first class ticket. My origination is NC. I normally like to go through Germany, as it has the easiest connections to SPU, but am willing to try another city, though prefer to travel deeper into Europe as opposed to just to LHR or AMS. I really just want the best first class experience. What are your thoughts?

“Best” is, of course, subjective. We know Ben is a big fan of Lufthansa but unless you have Miles & More points and pay their fuel surcharges, F award seats are typically only available two weeks out. Ben spoke highly of Air France F, especially the lounge experience in CDG, but not sure that fits your “deeper into Europe” scenario. SWISS limits their F awards to top-level M&M members.

Turkish doesn’t have F but has a very nice J experience, with the lounge in IST and good food on board.
