Hi Lucky,

I really enjoy reading your blog. I am a newbie. My husband and I have a small business. What would be the best way to accumulate points for a trip from Lax to sgn business class? United or American route? 4 credit cards? Which is easier to obtain award tickets for business, Cathay or Eva?

    Thank you!

    Hello Maria.

Try collecting AA or Alaska miles and fly on Cathay.

R/T to Asia 100K miles each

Pick up the Alaska Visa in both personal and Biz version for both of you, 50K miles each after first purchase

Get the Starwood cards in personal and biz version for both of you, 50K points after you have meet the spending requirements

R/T to Asia Region 2 110K miles each for now, devaluation coming next year.

Pick up some of the Citi AA card here for both you husband and your self if you can meet the spending requirements.

I totally agree with @No Name
The Citi Biz AA Card has 50K offer. If you get it and meet the spend immediately you are looking at getting the points posted before mid-Feb 2016. With the March 2016 devaluation around the corner, you can lock in your seats at the current chart rate.
