Was wondering if anyone knew if BA takes pre ordering 30 days prior for Business Class within europe or is it just for crossing the pond or Europe to Asia?

The routes i am wondering about specifically are LCY to FCO (11am) and CPH to LHR (7am). I know at 2 hours ish flights its a light meal but are there options and can you pre order 30 days out?

If you are an Executive Club Member you can indicate your meal “preference” in your profile. Not sure if that guarantees you your selection, but I think it may.

Update: I just logged in to my BA account. The meal preference is simply to indicate a vegetarian, kosher, Hindu, etc. preference. I am not sure if you can preorder on BA Club. Europe flights. I flew LCY to DUB last year and I don’t recall being able to preorder (though I may not have looked).

Cool thanks. Ya i thought when reading your original reply that it was just preferences. So I guess i will see 30 days out if i can pre order. i wasnt even sure if there were choices or just 1 meal but sounds like within europe even if 2 hours ish flights they do have a couple/few choices of entrees

You cannot pre-order on any European flight, and in fact you can only pre-order for long-haul flights from LHR (not to).

As to choices, a lot depends on the time of your flight. Generally there’ll be two options but sit towards the front of the cabin if you want to be sure of getting your first choice.

Given the way BA has changed their intra-European business class services, I wouldnt expect being able to pre-order anything aside from special meals for different dietary needs.

Also give then length of the flight’s you’re asking about, I’d just pickup something at the airport before boarding or get something after landing.

Very few airlines offer a decent business class product intra-Europe and BA is definitely not one of those airlines.
