BA Industrial Action

BA Industrial Action

BA Mixed Fleet Crew has planned industrial action for January 10-11 which could affect my travel plans. If I am booked with AA award tickets on BA F and the flight is ultimately cancelled, would AA make a change to an equivalent class on AA metal for no additional charges? BA is supposed to be announcing additional details this coming Friday, and if my route is listed as potentially affected would that be sufficient enough to make AA change our outgoing flight? There is current availability on AA for F but it is at AAnytime level miles prices and we are booked at Saver. Appreciate any input!

They should be able to do that. I would contact them as soon as BA posts their specifics. Makes sure you do your research and call with a specific flights that have availability. You may have to ask for a supervisor or revenue management to open seats so be patient and persistent and don’t be afraid to HUCA.
