awesome JetBlue Experience on Points Match
I am a big fan of your blog. Like many, I did the Virgin/Jet Blue Points Match by transferrring points from Amex to Starwood to Virgin. I took a flight to Long Beach the end of July and thought I was all set.
I didn’t see the 75,000 points and contacted them on the 29th. They returned my e-mail within a few hours. I was dismayed that they had rejected my flight as I also booked a hotel at the same time on their website. Customer service was apologetic and offered me a $50 credit. Apparently, there was small print and they felt their hands were tied.
I ended up writing an e-mail to the corporation, and 24 hours later I received a personal call from the executive granting my request.
My first flight experience on JetBlue was great and I was really dismayed when they turned me down. I thought that I would never fly JetBlue again. Instead, they have done what they intend to do, recovered a new client to fly with them more frequently.
If anyone has not received their Points Match. I would encourage them to put in an inquiry on the Jet Blue website.
