Award using AA miles
Hey luck – Was trying to use my AA miles for business class from BOM to SIN (one-way). The only options however that show-up on ba.com are Malaysia and Sri Lanka. Is it possible to book Qatar or Cathay? If so, how do I go about it? In addition, etihad won’t even let me search for either miles or paid flights from BOM to SIN via AUH – no option provided..
Thanks!

You are probably break both maximum permitted mileage and most direct routing going true DOH or HKG.

Not sure what the deal is with Etihads site, come up as a paid flight when clicking in from a OTA or doing a multi city search. Have you tried searching segment by segment for the award flight on Etihad site?
As @No Name said, I would search segment by segment and then call in to AA to book. In cases like these where there aren’t many options they might be more willing to work with you.
