Amex Platinum Benefits
Bought a $50 Delta gift card with my Amex platinum the other day and haven’t been reimbursed like in past years. Is there any work around? If not, what is the next best use of the credits? Already get free bags for having status.
Hi Elizabeth, this post will help:

You should be able to buy day passes to Skyclubs (if you don’t already have access). Unfortunately, that is what I’ve done with AA… though who knows when I’ll use them at this point.
I’ve also had luck using my Amex cards to buy miles on AA at a kiosk when checking in. It codes as Misc. It is a slight hassle – having to go to a kiosk to print a BP… and it is not great value for the miles. But it is better than $0. May work for Delta as well.
