Liz90909 New MemberHi, I noticed that the last review on this site of the JFK American Airlines Business Class lounge was done in 2009. Just wanted to let people know that it has improved over time. I was in a rush to leave my apartment and get to JFK in plenty of time for my flight, so I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to eat a decent lunch at the business class lounge. There is a much broader range of food than the old snack mix, though that is still there. What I enjoyed included hot soup (there are two kinds), hummus, pita chips, cheeses, and an olive bar; there was probably more but that’s all I had. The complementary wine is a decent Chardonnay. The lounge has comfortable seating, with good views; complementary showers; and luxe bathrooms. While the lounge is not as fancy as the 1st Class lounge, it’s definitely worth stopping in. Finally, the San Francisco American lounge offered exactly the same.

Yes, American has updated their lounge catering across the system. I’m a huge fan of having soups at the various lounges!
