Alaska Boardroom with AAdvantage Exec World Elite?

Alaska Boardroom with AAdvantage Exec World Elite?

  1. Anonymous Guest

I have the Citibank AAdvantage Executive World Elite card and have added my wife as an authorized user. Since this card comes with the Admirals Club membership, I’ve used it successful to also access Alaska Airlines board rooms. However, my wife recently was denied entry to the Alaska Boardroom at LAX (travelling alone) with the explanation that she was not the primary cardholder. While that’s true – she is not the primary cardholder – my understanding was that she had full Admirals Club membership as an authorized user and therefore should also have access to the Alaska Boardrooms, even when travelling without me. She’s had no trouble accessing Admirals Clubs on her card. Does anyone know if the agent was right or wrong on this one?

    Hi Brian!

Agent was right — authorized users have Admirals Club access but not memberships.
