Hi Ben, huge fan of your work. I have a pretty decent business trip coming up next week, starting Sydney, New Orleans, Orlando and then a couple of stops in California before flying home. 2 questions if I can.
1) the whole trip / fare is business or first, apart from a delta flight from orlando through SLC and then to Burbank, all economy, can you add baggage prior or just at the check in? And should I ask for an upgrade, are they purchase able?
2) favourite airport in the US? I might get lucky.
If you around would be great to catch you for a coffee, I work for Disney, so travel quite a bit from AUS?
Cheers
David

@Davedave, Delta regularly offers the opportunity to upgrade via the app or the website. I would check your reservation regularly to see offers. I would not count on being upgraded for free at the airport, especially if you do not have status. Good luck!

yea, UA you can do this too, wish AA had normal pay upgrades to first class

AA does have paid upgrades sometimes – I’ve been offered it during check-in on the app and at an airport kiosk. Ultimately, I decided against it since it was $90 for a 2 hour flight from ORD to LGA on a 738.

yes they do have LFBU upgrades, but those are much more rare in my experience than upgrades on DL and UA. Also AA’s are only at check-in
