Had/Have a trip planned to Greece in September using Aeroplan and was on Swiss metal. Aeroplan changed the booking today, 14 July, to AC metal and added a stop en route. I canceled the booking ready to pick a new route on Austrian metal since AC’s onboard COVID service is abysmal compared to Lufthansa Group. Click through to pay and they’re asking $1,900 in taxes and fees for two people. The ticket I canceled was $122 in taxes. Is this a recent change?
