Aeroplan and United
Hello experts!
I’ve been looking at United availability on Aeroplan. I can see United Sydney to LAX on some days but nothing shows up on Aeroplan. Is this typical, or some new glitch?
Are you sure it’s UA saver space? For UA space to be available on partners, UA awards on their own planes will show up as 80k on United.com. If you have any United credit card, make sure you’re logged OUT of MileagePlus, since certain cards give you access to more UA cardholders-only awards.
Hi David,
Thank you for your response. It is definitely saver space at 80k and does not give the blurb for UA card members (although I am a card member). However, without signing in, I can not access actual dates, so not sure what you mean about signing out.
If you’re logged out and do a search, it does prompt you to log in. But if you click the “X” on the upper right corner of the yellow log-in box, it’ll close and then complete your search and show results! Try that? 🙂
Thanks. It’s definitely there on United and not on Aeroplan. I have not looked at other Star Alliance sites. Well, I was just curious if this was a known issue.
If youre sure it’s partner accessible Saver, call Aeroplan. They might be able to see it on their end even if it’s not showing on Aeroplan’s website.
have you tried to see if it shows up on Lifemiles?
Update. Today Aeroplan is finally showing the United availability. Very strange.
