Admirals Club Miami Rehab

Admirals Club Miami Rehab

  1. Anonymous Guest

Anyone been to the Admirals Club in Miami recently? Booking a flight to St Thomas for July and not sure if I should go through Miami or Charlotte. Wondering how much of a mess the Miami club is during the rehab.

If you have the AMEX Platinum (or Centurion) card, I’d connect thru Miami for the AMEX Centurion Lounge.

I’m going to be a contrarian, and say that if you can avoid connecting in Miami in general it’s worth considering. The Admirals Club is a mess, but there is a second club. The Centurion Lounge in Miami is so overcrowded as to be unusable.

The lounges in Charlotte aren’t amazing, and you’d likely be on PMUS planes with no outlets, so there are tradeoffs.

there are two Admirals clubs in MIA, I remember both being pretty full over the 3 times I connected there for NAS and SJO in late 2014/early 2015. Was there before centurion opened though. I believe one of the Admirals Clubs at MIA has now been refurbished. ORD has a refurbished Admirals club in the small G concourse and it was very very nice so I suspect the MIA one would be similar
