Access to United Clubs using 1 time pass

Access to United Clubs using 1 time pass

As a United Mileage Plus explorer card holder I get several one time passes to the United Club. The conditions state “Same day boarding pass is required for entry”
Does that have to be a boarding pass for a United flight or can I gain entry if I’m flying on a partner airline ticketed through the partner airline. Specific case is we are flying to Auckland out of SFO on Air New Zealand.

    Thanks

Hello GBOAC. I recently used a United one-day pass in Dec ‘17 at one of the Denver United Clubs. A same-day boarding pass was required, and I was flying Frontier Airlines that day. The attendant took the pass and then scanned my Frontier mobile boarding pass. It was verified and I was let in. Essentially ANY airline is okay. You should be fine.
