AA Website Changes
I was booking a ticket the other day and I noticed something new… AA asked me if I wanted a complimentary 24 hour hold or it had the option to hold for 3 days, 5 days, or 7 days… all at a cost. I have never seen this before. Subsequently, I have booked another ticket and that option no longer appears… think this is something in the works? route specific?
Hello csame.
Still in testing apparently.

My understanding is that the 24 hour hold is AA’s way of complying with the requirement to be able to cancel at no cost a reservation within 24 hours of making it. Sneaky if you ask me since apparently once you do ticket you cannot cancel regardless of when you do that in first 24 hours.
