AA Flagship Lounge Access from Connecting Flight
I’m flying on Cathay Pacific First Class from HKG to LAX. My flight arrives into LAX at 7 a.m. and I plan to fly to Sacramento, CA on the same day at around 11 a.m. If I purchase an American Airlines ticket (economy or first class), will I have access to the Flagship Lounge at LAX if I use my Cathay Pacific boarding pass?

yes you should have access, for Oneworld flights, you get lounge access based on your highest class of the day no matter where it is departing from, http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2014/08/25/know-lounge-access-international-itineraries/
