AA 777-200 seats
is there any way to tell if you’re getting the Zodiac or B/E Diamond seats in J on AA’s 777-200? The route is LHR-RDU.
I flew Raleigh to London earlier this year and thought all flights were operated by a 767-300, but maybe that’s changed?
Either way, here is a good guide to the 777-200

Not the same flight, but we fly MIA-CDG 777-200 and the Seat Guru shows the front/back facing Zodiac seats. This is inaccurate. Each time we fly, its the B/E seat… super nice all front facing. I called AA and they said, the seat maps are accurate on their basic diagram seat maps….. its the SeatGuru that is inaccurate as they show front/back facing.
I checked SeatGuru and they show the same thing as the flight from MIA-CDG using 777-200. SG is wrong. American now flies the 777-200 with all front facing seats. The two cabins of Biz cabins are correct….. so you can check that way with the AA site. Just don’t get mislead with front/back not-liked Zodiac-moving seats.
If you already have a booking, try seat selection. There are arrows to indicate rear facing seats if they are the Zodiac seats. If you dont see arrows, I’d assume that you’re getting the BE Super Diamonds.
So Im trying to book MIA to SCL (AA225). Judging by the AA website, all business seats face forward (no seats have arrows). Not sure of this is V3 or V4 of the plane.
