What would you do?
What would you do? I have an upcoming flight in C on BA that I’m currently crediting to Alaska Mileage Plan — it will get me MVP gold status for 2016. I have no other way to get that and won’t make 75K. I’ve already qualified for Platinum on AA in 2016 and this would only take be from the 52K range to the 60K range so no real advantage there (I don’t think) but there is the bonus kicker (25K?) on paid trans Atlantic business class tickets so I’m currently passing that up. Would you stick with Alaska or switch to AA?
How much flying do you do and how much is that MVP gold status worth it to you. Unfortunately only you can answer that question :).
