Stick with OW or make the switch?

Stick with OW or make the switch?

I’m currently an AA Exec Platinum until January 2018. However, I’m moving to Paris in January 2017 but will still be traveling quite a lot around the world. Should I consider switching to Air France/Delta, or stay with AA? What about a switch to BA to credit miles? Any advice is helpful.

With AA you’ll still need 4 flights on AA metal. Will your travel patterns support that?

Always remember that flights using BA miles or on BA metal will incur fuel surcharges (except US-domestic AA flights).

With DL you cannot fly in a first class cabin on any airline when using miles.

I think I’d certainly look into Air France. If you can find out what fare classes you’d be flying you can check wheretocredit.com to see what will earn you the most miles.
